Entry Requirements

✔️ At least 16 years old ✔️ Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50 Percent) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience. ✔️ Language Requirement: At least Grade C6 in GCE O-Level English or IELTS 5.5 or above. Applicants who do not possess the stipulated English language qualification will be required to undergo the Academy's English Language Placement Assessment. Additional Notes ✔️ Dates of the examination to be announced during course. ✔️ All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). ✔️ The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course ✔️ We do not issue Student Passes. “International Student” refers to individuals holding a valid Work Pass or any other long-term permit that allows them to reside legally in Singapore throughout the duration of their studies. ✔️ Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least eight (8) years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness OR case-by-case basis through an interview, taking into account factors such as relevance of experience, learning readiness, career planning, and other relevant considerations. MODULE 1: Anatomy and Physiology This module provides learners with a strong scientific foundation in understanding the human body. Students will explore the structure, function, and common pathologies of major body systems, including the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, neurological, reproductive, and integumentary systems. This knowledge helps learners understand how the body responds to essential oils and aromatherapy treatments, ensuring safe and effective practice. They will study the history and theories behind aromatherapy, the structure and function of plants, and the chemistry of essential and carrier oils. Learners will also explore product quality, blending techniques, consultation procedures, and contraindications to treatment. Practical sessions will allow students to prepare, perform, and evaluate aromatherapy treatments, while providing aftercare and home-care advice tailored to individual client needs.
