This Notice protects the intellectual property (“IP”) of SOQ International Academy and clarifies what you may and may not do with our brand, content, and platform.
1. Ownership
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SOQ International Academy Pte. Ltd. owns or is the licensed proprietor of all rights, title, and interest in:
- The SOQ International Academy platform, software, interfaces, databases, and documentation
- Courseware, lesson plans, slides, videos, assessments, worksheets, and learning materials
- Website copy, graphics, UI designs, icons, photographs, and multimedia
- Logos, word marks, trade dress, slogans, and brand assets
- Compilations, arrangements, and selections of content on soq.edu.sg and related properties
AI-assisted creation or enhancement of any of the above does not transfer ownership to users, vendors, or the public. Commercial rights remain with SOQ (or its licensors) as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
2. Trademarks and brand
The following are trademarks or brand identifiers of SOQ International Academy Pte. Ltd. (whether registered or unregistered):
- SOQ
- SOQ International Academy
- SOQ logos, emblems, and visual identity
- Domain names including soq.edu.sg and related subdomains
You may not use these marks in a way that is likely to cause confusion, imply partnership or endorsement, or dilute the distinctiveness of the SOQ brand, without prior written permission from SOQ.
Permitted factual reference: You may refer to SOQ International Academy by name in truthful, non-misleading statements (for example, that you completed a course), provided you do not use logos or stylised marks without permission.
3. Copyright licence to learners
Upon enrolment and subject to payment and our Terms, learners receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access course materials for their own learning during the access period. Unless SOQ gives written permission, you may not:
- Copy, record, redistribute, or sell course materials
- Upload SOQ materials to public file-sharing or AI training datasets
- Use materials to deliver competing training commercially
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
4. Platform and reseller restrictions
Access to the platform is a licence, not a sale. Reselling, sublicensing, white-labelling, framing, or commercially exploiting the SOQ platform, modules, documentation, or APIs requires a separate written agreement with SOQ International Academy Pte. Ltd. Reverse engineering and unauthorised scraping are prohibited.
5. User content and feedback
You retain ownership of original content you create and submit. By submitting content or feedback, you grant SOQ the licence described in the Terms to operate the Services. Feedback and suggestions may be used by SOQ without obligation to you.
6. Third-party IP
Third-party names, marks, and content (including payment brands, software vendors, accreditation bodies, and partner logos) remain the property of their respective owners. Presence on our site does not imply affiliation beyond what is expressly stated.
7. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on our platform infringes your IP rights, email academy@soq.edu.sg with:
- Your contact details
- Description of the work claimed to be infringed
- URL or location of the allegedly infringing material
- A statement of good-faith belief and authority to act
We will review notices and may remove or disable access to material as appropriate.
8. Enforcement
SOQ reserves all rights to enforce its IP, including takedown requests, account suspension, civil claims for damages and injunctions, and reporting to authorities where warranted. Nothing in this Notice waives any right or remedy.
