The goal of this course is to expose the students to business know-hows needed to start up and manage a business. At the end of the course, students will be thoroughly assessed and if found satisfactory, will be given a Diploma in International Business Management.

Entry Requirements

✔️ At least 16 years old ✔️ Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50%) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience. ✔️ Language Requirement: At least a pass in GCE O-Level Mandarin or equivalent Additional Notes ✔️ Dates of the examination to be announced during course. ✔️ All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). ✔️ The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course ✔️ We do not issue Student Passes. “International Student” refers to individuals holding a valid Work Pass or any other long-term permit that allows them to reside legally in Singapore throughout the duration of their studies. ✔️ Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least eight (8) years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness OR case-by-case basis through an interview, taking into account factors such as relevance of experience, learning readiness, career planning, and other relevant considerations. Practical Hands-On Activities

MODULE 1: Organizational Behaviour Organizational Behaviour (OB) is a field of study that shows the relationship between the behaviour of individuals, people or groups within an organization and how to harness these behaviours effectively to attain organizational goals. It is also using the human behaviour as a tool for organizational benefits. Total: 64 hrs Classroom Learning: 16 hrs Asynchronous E-learning: 48 hrs Assessment: 2hrs *Assessment will be included in classroom training MODULE 2: Human Resources This module introduces learners to the importance of the Human Resource function in an organisation. They will also understand the various day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, stressing on an open playing field for each member of the organisation. Total: 64 hrs Classroom Learning: 16 hrs Asynchronous E-learning: 48 hrs Assessment: 2hrs *Assessment will be included in classroom training MODULE 3: Operations Management The aim of this module is to make students understand the necessity of operations to management in an organization. They will also be introduced to the factors of production as a key to implementing operational management. They will understand the idea of an effective supply chain and the importance of Quality Assurance and Control in the operational sphere. Other topics that will be covered include planning for production, project management and inventory management. Total: 40 hrs Classroom Learning: 16 hrs Asynchronous E-learning: 24 hrs Assessment: 2hrs *Assessment will be included in classroom training MODULE 4: Basic Accounting This course introduces learners to the importance of accounting and finance to the organisation. Learners will appreciate the roles of a finance and accounts officer to the organisation. They will be able to explain the various types of business entities in Singapore, and the importance of ethics in accounting and finance. They will understand and be able to interpret business transactions and how to read financial reports.
