Entry Requirements

✔️ At least 16 years old ✔️ Academic Requirement: At least a Grade C6 (Min 50 Percent) at O-Level in any 3 subjects or matured candidate who is 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience. ✔️ Language Requirement: At least Grade C6 in GCE O-Level English or IELTS 5.5 or above. Applicants who do not possess the stipulated English language qualification will be required to undergo the Academy's English Language Placement Assessment. Additional Notes ✔️ Dates of the examination to be announced during course. ✔️ All amount stated are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). ✔️ The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 18 months from first date of course ✔️ We do not issue Student Passes. “International Student” refers to individuals holding a valid Work Pass or any other long-term permit that allows them to reside legally in Singapore throughout the duration of their studies. ✔️ Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least eight (8) years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness OR case-by-case basis through an interview, taking into account factors such as relevance of experience, learning readiness, career planning, and other relevant considerations. MODULE 1: Health and Safety Practice in the Salon This module introduces learners to essential health, safety, and hygiene standards within a salon environment. Students will learn how to maintain a clean and safe workspace, handle tools and products correctly, and follow proper sanitation and infection control procedures — ensuring the well-being of both clients and professionals. Total: 48 hrs Classroom Learning: 24 hrs Asynchronous E-learning: 22 hrs Assessment: 2 hrs MODULE 2: Provide Professional Makeup Learners will develop the technical and creative skills needed to perform a wide range of professional makeup applications — including day, evening, bridal, and fashion looks. The module covers facial analysis, colour theory, product selection, and makeup for different skin tones and occasions, with hands-on practice on live models to build real-world confidence. Total: 120 hrs Classroom Learning: 80 hrs Asynchronous E-learning: 38 Hrs Assessment: 2 Hr Portfolio of Evidence: 10 Models MODULE 3: Professional Conduct and Business Awareness This module focuses on the professionalism and business aspects of being a makeup artist. Students will learn effective communication, customer service, and ethical conduct, as well as how to manage client relationships, promote services, and explore entrepreneurship opportunities in the beauty and makeup industry.
